Some of my photos from the Friday Climate Strike in downtown Los Angeles. Over 4,000,000 people marched worldwide.

Now we march - and there are a LOT of us. Heading south away from Pershing Square.
Rising up S. Grand there are so many of us traffic has stopped and we are all moving in-between cars in all traffic lanes. The buses, postal van and cars are live traffic and they're not moving for the next half hour...
Turning from where I took the last photo, now looking up S. Grand St. Again, marchers ahead filling the street and sidewalks as far ahead as you can see. Most of the drivers we passed very supportive. Engines off, enjoying the show.
Love the signs, the smiles on faces.

Festive, inspired. Marching through live traffic. Our numbers go back over a quarter mile — as far as you can see.
