The Farm Animal Welfare Newsletter reports 10 momentous victories for farm animals in 2021 including the biggest animal welfare reform in history: The European Commission’s ban on almost all cages and crates for the 340+ million farm animals in the European Union.
Other victories include the U.S. breaking cage-free records, a huge investment increase in the researching of plant-based alternatives to animal-sourced foods, four more countries banned fur-farming and 12 other European nations are now calling on the European Commission to ban fur farming across the EU.
